Ugo originally designed the cover for their 2012 album "Panic", and when the idea of making a music-video was floated around, he reached out to Jeremy and myself. Needless to say, we were on board!
We immediately picked the track "Rock it for me", for it's dynamism and overall fun vibe that suited animation so well.
We nodded to the album cover with the UFO invasion, and even got to pay an homage to some of our favorite childhood movies, such as "Le Roi et L'Oiseau", "Metropolis" and "The Great Dictator".
We completed the music-video in a little over 3 weeks (!!), and I'm very pleased with the result: it gathered around 60 million views on YouTube. Not bad!
A massive thank you to the band, and to Ugo for bringing this project, to Jeremy for his amazing talent, and to the entire team involved (full credits on the YouTube video below!)
